I bought the soundtrack when I was in my late thirties )I'm 67 now). I used it to go to sleep. It worked like a charm every time. One day I took the CD with me on a long trip and listened to the whole thing, not realizing that there was one of the most romantic songs I have ever heard at the end of the CD, by Tom Jones - "With These Arms". I don't even like Tom Jones, but, I fell in love with him that day, lol. Since then, I've found videos of him singing with Janis Joplin, of all people.

Not exactly sure why, but this song brings with it so much emotion. I think for me it invokes the feelings associated with all the unknowns of our universe and existence that this film explores. ✌️

I believe that Braveheart and interstellar are the best written musical scores of our time. When I listen to the Beginning of Braveheart I begin to cry the simplicity of the bag pipes along with the other instruments tells a story of Scotland and their struggles to be free from the English. It also tells a story, my story of where my ancestors came from began a very long Journey that through thousands of years brought me here today. Interstellar tells a story of the struggles that we as humans mankind go through along with our accomplishments and successes as people. It also tells a story of our failures but in the end it brings all these things to a culminating climax that regardless we persevere and overcome what comes in front of us of our humanity

When I watched the movie, like many, I struggled to follow/understand the story, but it was the score that kept me fully engaged and tempted me to rewatch/listen. Slowly after a few viewings the plot began to unfold for me. Masterpiece of cinema and music.

I saw the film in the movie theater but what impacted me most was Jewish director Glazer's terrifying speech at the Oscar. He said that the Jewish people invaded lands! If the Israelis depended on Glazer to protect themselves from their enemies, they would literally be screwed!
